Ghana has suffered yet another disaster as fire gutted the Asuom Senior High School in the Kwaebibirm District of the Eastern Region.

Information gathered indicates that the fire began Sunday morning at about 7am when students were at church service thereby destroying uncountable properties and belongings of the students.
Three rooms of the boys dormitory were affected by the fire and reports has it that properties in one of the rooms was severely burnt into ashes.
Abrefa Busia, a teacher and assemblyman for the area said, he first noticed thick smoke coming out from one of the rooms which was close to his bungalow.
According to him, he has to raise the alarm where upon students, teachers and good Samaritans did their best to put off the fire but to no avail.
Abrefa Busia said it took several hours for the fire fighters who arrived on time to put out the inferno.
As at this press, no injuries or causalities have been recorded but the cause of the fire is yet to be known.
