Fiesta TV Finally Launched To Promote Ghanaian Content

Finally, the long-awaited station, Fiesta TV Channel has been launched on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, inside the conference hall of MultiChoice in Accra.

The channel, which is another subsidiary of the EIB Network, was officially launched by the CEO of both EIB Network Group and Empire Entertainment, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray together with Jay Foley and the General Manager of Multichoice Ghana, Mr. Cecil Sunkwa Mills in a colourful event.

Judith Anumel, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of 2131 Omni, the content manager of Fiesta TV in a speech has revealed that the newly channel launched will run on 80% Ghanaian content ranging from music, art and entertainment, lifestyle, fashion and interviews.

She added that Fiesta TV will work closely with every Ghanaian musician so as to promote Ghanaian music to the whole wide.

The event, hosted by Regina Van Helvert and JKD was well studded by top celebrities like Captain Planet, Edem, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Article Wan, Dblack, Kurtis Yardie, Eazzy and Bisa Kdei.

Others include; Kwaku T, D. Cryme, Kelvin Bwoy, KOD, Trigmatic, and Sista Afia.

All these celebrities pledged to support the channel grow.

One of the sponsorships, Pizarea, the online food ordering business teamed up with Papa’s Pizza to deliver some pizzas for the occasion.

Lionheart Security officers were there to ensure the safeguard of everyone who graced the event.

Fiesta TV, according to Bola Ray has come to stay and Ghanaians can watch the channel on both DSTV 329 and GOTV 159.
