Ghanaians’ Silence On ICGC Digital Payment Is Pure Hypocrisy – Social Media

A post published on the official Social Media Page of the International Central Gospel Church, ICGC introduces a new medium of paying offering and tithes regardless of ones located at the hour of church services.

They announced their Digital mode of paying church offertory on Sunday, July 29, which entreats everybody to make an instant payment of offertory through the digital app “Express Pay” once you are touched by the sermon they preach to do so.

But the introduction of this channel of offertory payment seems to have caused a great stir of unpleasant comments from the general public as to why the Founder of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensah Otabil was not restricted or asked not to introduce the digital mode of the offertory payment.

The silence of some significant individuals concerning this introduction is pointed out to be an act of hypocrisy as they would have spoken against it if it was any other man of God in the likes of Bishop Obinim, Rev Owusu and the rest.

Some religious people are also asking of the wrong those complaining find about the digital medium of offertory payment.

Is it wise for a Religious Body to use digital payment platform in accepting offertory?

Will this practice continue amidst the accusation fingers pointed at the church?
