Isaac Dogboe, Ghanaian professional boxer has accepted to fight Mexican boxer Cesar Juarez for the WBO interim world title, www.Fnnewsonline.com has learnt.
Information gathered shows that Isaac Dogboe who has accepted to fight Cesar Juarez in the WBO interim world title was due to an injury of the WBO super bantamweight champion Jesse Magdaleno.
Isaac Dogboe, the next available boxer after Tapales has gladly accepted to fight Cesar Juarez.
The WBO Convention in Cuba which serves as the sanction body has mandated Isaac Dogboe and Cesar Juarez after the latter won the purse bid of $117,000.
The Ghanaian boxer and the Rising Star Africa Promotions will need an amount of $ 500,000.00 in order to stage the fight in Ghana as revealed by Paul Dogboe, father and trainer of Isaac Dogboe.
Paul Dogboe said;
“We now have the right to stage the interim world title fight in Ghana, it is something that we have been looking for,” he said.
“Financial wise it won’t be easy to stage that fight, roughly we need $500,000 to do the show, that is a lot of money.”
“Big dignitaries from the WBO will be coming down to watch that fight so we have to make them feel at home, so we need that money to stage the fight in Ghana.”
