Since I moved from home three months ago my social media feeds have been filled with decoration photos, proof that I spent more time than I should I would like to immerse myself in the decorative possibilities of my new home.
That starting space of zero has motivated me remarkably and has given me the strength I needed to implement the methods of order and cleanliness of Mari Kondo. My main goals lately are ‘less is more’ and low-cost decoration. And it seems that I have found in this DIY an ally with good results. That’s why when they offered me to try Canon’s new multifunction printer ( 150 euros), my eyes made chiribitas. This is how I unleash my creativity:
It all started when Canon sent me this wonder of white color and elegant design. That, for starters, combined quite well with the neutral hue that I am giving my home.
The PIXMA TS8251 brand printer is designed to facilitate the printing of laboratory-quality photos from home. Despite being a very attractive domestic model for its modern design, it comes wonderfully equipped technologically speaking. It has six inks (a photographic blue to reduce granularity and improve details), WIFI connectivity, print without borders and two-way paper feed. In addition to the LCD touch screen, cloud connectivity (PIXMA Cloud Link) and compatibility for use with smartphones (its application for mobile phones and tablets is a hoot). And it also serves to make copies and scan. Wonder.
I am aware that it was thanks to all these technical characteristics that my little DIY decoration experiment was so easy, but at the time of releasing it, the only thing I could pay attention to was the great variety of papers that exist to use them with it. I did not consider the technical specifications until later.
And it is that the printer is worth to print stickers, magnets, square, rectangular photos, with brightness and without brightness and even nails. It is understandable that due to my new deco passion, having so many possibilities made me feel euphoric, isn’t it? But let’s focus on the important things.
